Gus is a classically trained composer with equal passion for traditional music and experimenting with new sounds and electroacoustic techniques. His music spans television, radio, films and theatre.

Gus studied at The Royal College of Music as a scholar on the Composition for Screen masters programme, and graduated with the Joseph Horovitz Composition Prize. He was also a BAFTA scholar, through which he was mentored by Rupert Gregson-Williams and Maggie Rodford.

Gus's music has been heard on prime-time tv around the world in dramas, reality tv, advertising and sports programmes, as well as on popular radio stations such as Heart and Smooth Radio. He has also worked as an arranger for television and live acts, including Strictly Come Dancing, Andrea Bocelli, Gareth Malone and the Swingle Singers.

In 2019 Gus went to the Zurich Film Festival as a finalist in the International Composition Competition where his score was performed by the Tonhalle Orchester Zurich. He was also recently featured as a "rising star" in the BBC Music Magazine for his upcoming West End debut: a new ballet commissioned by the London Children's Ballet, due to be performed in May 2022.
